  • IP address and approximate location
  • Pages visited and features used

  • Process and verify your verse submissions

  • AWS Textract - For OCR processing of English text submissions
  • Google Cloud Vision - For OCR processing of Korean text (future)
  • AWS S3 / MinIO - For secure image storage

  • Public Display: Your verified submissions may appear in the public gallery with your name (or anonymously, based on your preference)
  • Church Members: If you join a church, other members may see your name and contributions within that church

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal information, including:

  • Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS)
  • Secure password hashing (bcrypt)
  • HTTP-only cookies for authentication
  • Presigned URLs for secure image uploads

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active. Submitted verse images are retained as part of the community Bible project. You may request deletion of your account and personal data at any time.
